Le domaine du Château de l'Ange Gardien

The wines of the Château l'Ange Gardien estate are exclusively made from our own vines. Our vineyard is mainly planted on the "C%ocirc;te de Beaune", it spreads over the following places: Auxey-Duresses , Beaune, Chorey-les Beaune, Ladoix-Serrigny,Meursault,Pommard,Sainte-Marie-La Blanche, Savigny-les Beaune and on the "Côte de Nuits" with Corgoloin.

The vines are planted on a 10,000 vine plants per hectare basis with the typical Burgundy grape varieties: Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and "Golden Grains" Aligoté

The vine growing is carried out following the sustainable agriculture principles without any use of chemical weed killers or fertilizers.

As we look for a high concentration in our wines, short pruning is a common practise and manual harvesting is done as late as possible in the season when the grapes are ripe enough, almost overripe on some occasions.

The output of our ten-hectare domain rarely exceeds 36,000 bottles of complex and dense wines.

Our wines have been vinified, matured and bottled on the Château premises.
